Day
1 Arrival at Cochin
On arrival at air port / rail way station in Cochin
you will be met and transported to Hotel at Cochin,
the famous port of Kerala also known as “The
Queen of Arabian Sea.” In the afternoon
depart for a sightseeing of Cochin. Highlights
include visit to the Jewish Synagogue, Dutch palace,
St: Francis's Church, where Vasco De gama was
cremated, Chinese fishing nets at work and spend
the evening for shopping and watching classical
dance performance of Kathakali by night return
to the hotel for over night stay. 
Day 2 Cochin-Thattaekad 50 km
Early in the morning we will make our way to the
lowland forests of Thattekkad, set on the shores
of the Periyar River. The journey will take you
through the spice gardens that have made Kerala
famous all over the globe. On arrival you will
be staying at a resort on the riverside. Jungle
camp is the prefect setting for an evening of
relaxation as you listen to the sounds of the
forest.
Day 3 Thattekad-Adimali
Early morning we will depart from the resort ride
along the side of the river Periyar, through forests,
spice plantations, countryside of pineapple plantations
& rubber estates till we reach the foothills
of the Western Ghats at Adimali. Stay at a Plantation
Bungalow.
Day 4 Adimali -Munnar
Today is a day of climbing to the heights at Munnar
at over 1700 meters. We will pass through high
altitude forests, manicured tea gardens, cardamom
plantations and winding roads as we make it to
our resort.
Day 5 Munnar
- Suryanelli
We will take
the winding estate roads through the tea gardens
& sholas (high altitude mountain forests)
and through the spectacular Lockhart gap overlooking
the Bison Valley deep down below. We will have
a picnic lunch en-route and reach our destination
at Suryanelli by dusk. We will spend the night
in very comfortably furnished Cottage tents at
Suryanelli after a sumptuous barbeque dinner by
the campfire.
Day 6 Suryanelli
- Vandanmedu
We will continue
our biking around the beautiful Anaerangal lake
(literally meaning the ‘Lake where the elephants
come down') and through beautifully manicured
tea estates to Nedungadom – a cardamom planter's
town. Most of the way we will pass through thick
forests, cardamom estates and spice gardens that
has made these Cardamom Hills world famous.
Day 7 Vandanmedu- Thekkady
Our destination today is the Periyar Tiger Reserve,
once again passing through forests, tea gardens
and spice plantations. We will take a detour to
Amman Koil where the endless plains of neighbouring
Tamil Nadu are clearly visible. On arrival, we
will take the boat ride in the lake for wildlife
viewing, before settling into the forest eco-lodge.
Day 8 - Thekkady
Periyar is one of the best wildlife reserves in
India and has large herds of Asiatic elephants,
Indian Bison as well as tigers. For the ornithologists
it has over 330 species of birds including the
majestic Great Hornbill. Today we see a little
of the tribal population and their lifestyles
before we eat and retire for a fine nights sleep.
Overnight Stay.
Day 9 – Thekkady - Vagamon
Vagamon town set against the grasslands
of the Western Ghats and the cycling route passes
through spectacular sights of the tea gardens
that have made this place so beautiful. We will
settle down at a resort overlooking the Western
Ghats Mountains.
Day 10 Vagamon - Kumarakom
Today is the ride to our final destination, the
backwaters town of Kumarakom. The ride through
the plains passes through settlements of rubber
plantations, farmlands, fruit yards and market
places till we reach our destination. Check in
at Resort . Rejuvenate your body with a traditional
ayurveda massage with medicinal oils and refresh
your soul with green splendor of your surroundings
and the cool breeze from the lake.
Day 11 Kumarakom
A cruise on the world-renowned rice boats –
a luxurious way to see the backwaters & see
the life in the backwater countryside villages.
Watch village life unfold before you, almost in
slow motion while your boat quietly glides through
canals that wind across houses and paddy fields.
Buy fish just caught from the lake and have it
cooked to your taste on the boat.Overnight
stay in the boat.
Day 12 Kumarakom - cochin
Return to cochin and rest of the day at leisure
. Shopping and roaming on the chart.
Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 13 - Departure
After breakfast proceed to Air port for departure
