Day 1: Arrival at Cochin
On arrival at Cochin International Air port/ Railway station you are greeted and transported to Hotel.

Day 2: Cochin
After breakfast proceed to local sight seeing. Highlights include visit to the Jewish Synagogue Dutch palace, St: Francis Church, where Vasco De Gama was cremated, Chinese fishing nets at work and shopping. Return to the hotel for over night stay

Day 3: Cochin-Munnar (140Km /4 hrs)
After break fast proceed to Munnar, enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by.

Day 4: Munnar
After breakfast, proceed for sight seeing around Munnar, highlights includes, Mattu petti dam, echo point - the place where your loud vice will be echoed from the forest across the river. Over night at the resort.

Day 5: Munnar
After breakfast proceed to see Eravikulam National Park at a height of 2695 meters from sea level, Anamudi -the highest peak in South India looms here. The Eravikulam region, a natural habitat of the Nilgiri Tahr (Hemitragas hylocres), is now home to half the world population estimated at around 1300 - of this endangered mountain goat. Rest of the day at leisure at resort.

Day: 6 Munnar – Thekkady ( Periyar) (120 kms/4 hrs)
After breakfast, Transfer to Thekkady, This drive is widely believed to be one of the most beautiful drives in India. Scenic beauty is at its best, with majestic mountains on one side and velvet green tea gardens and valleys on the other side. On arrival, check in at Hotel . Enjoy a boat Safari on the Periyar Lake, to view the varied fauna of this region. Overnight at Hotel .

Day: 7 Thekkady
After breakfast, depart to visit a spice plantation and also visit Kumali village for shopping for memorabilia, some garden fresh tealeaves and aromatic spices. Afternoon at leisure and overnight at Hotel.

Day 8 Thekkady- Kumarakom 110 Km
After break fast proceed for a two and half hour journey to Kumarakom- famous for backwater resorts and Check in at a backwater Resort. Afternoon, visit to neighboring places. Overnight at Hotel. Kumarakom is a unique backwater destination situated on the banks of Vembanad Lake . Kumarakom bird sanctuary is a favorite haunt of migratory birds from across the world, which makes it a renowned bird watching center. It is also a center for houseboat cruises.

Day: 9 Kumarakom - Alleppey
Check in the houseboat. The houseboat with all modern comforts lets you discover the countryside at your own pace. You will have lunch, dinner and breakfast in the Houseboat. A ride on the houseboat is a fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters. Today also you will be cruising through the backwaters and by evening you will reach Alleppey, another backwater hotspot on the western side of Vembanad Lake. Over night stay in boat.

Day 10 : Alleppey - Kovalam / Poovar (5 Km from Kovalam)(175 km/4 hrs)
After breakfast check out from houseboat at 10am and proceed to Poovar and check in an Island Resort.

Day 11: Kovalam
You can relax all day at the resort – take a swim in the pool, check out the ayurvedic spa, stroll down the beach, stare into infinity under a sun shade by the beach with a drink in hand or even get a tan!

Day 12 Kovalam
Idle around for another day before your dream holiday is about to turn to memory. Wake up to the call of the birds, go for a jog on the beach bare foot before sun heats up the sand, come back to enjoy an extended break fast, take a stroll around the resort, work up appetite for lunch and have it at leisure, take a short siesta, go for a swim and head to the beach when afternoon starts to cool down, stay put at the beach until you bid adieu to the sun ‘sinking’ in to the Arabian sea, get back for an early dinner! Hey, that is what we call a perfect (holi) day!!

Day:13 Check out and proceed to Trivandrum Railway station / Airport for departure.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

The package consists of accommodation for two persons, on twin sharing basis as per itinerary. Meal Plan CP at all places except Houseboat, where it will be AP on fixed menu basis. Conveyance in a/c Indica car, airport - hotel transfers, sight seeing as per itinerary only.All applicable taxes. Expenses of personal nature and those items that are not mentioned in itinerary are to be borne by the guest.
